Materials Chemistry Horizons (Abbreviation: Mater Chem Horizons) covers all areas related to the materials and chemistry. The aim of Mater Chem Horizons is to collect all applications of materials chemistry in Bioengineering and Biomedical, Chemistry of Energy Generation and Storage, Green Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry. We would like to publish high-quality peer-reviewed papers free of charge and with open access for all authors and readers. Mater Chem Horizons is fully sponsored by Damghan University. The reviewing and publishing process is completely free of charge. The Ithenticate software is used to check the similarity of submitted papers. Notice Regarding 2024 Publication Platform
In 2024, Mater Chem Horizons entered a temporary publishing partnership with Universci to enhance our production and distribution services. Consequently, all issues published during the calendar year 2024 (Volume 3, Issues 1-4) are hosted on their platform.
To ensure permanent access and preserve the scholarly record, we have also deposited the final accepted manuscripts (PDF format) of all 2024 articles in our own institutional repository. These archival copies are available for download on our dedicated 2024 Archive page.
Please note: Beginning with Volume 4 (2025), the journal has resumed publication on its original and permanent platform here at Damghan University.

The Editorial Board of the Materials Chemistry Horizons is delighted to announce the launch of the "Best Article Award" for every published issue. To recognize exceptional research and promote high-quality scientific contributions in the field of materials chemistry, we will grant a Cash Prize to the most outstanding article selected for publication in each quarterly issue.
Award Details:
A cash award ranging from 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 Iranian Tomans.
One award per issue (4 awards annually).
The award-winning article will be chosen by the Editorial Board based on the recommendations of peer reviewers, with emphasis on scientific originality, significance, methodological rigor, and clarity of presentation.
